This 1964 Capitol Records release (ST-2080) is an original US stereo pressing of The Beatles’ Second Album. The album features the original "rainbow" colorband label with the "Capitol Full Dimensional Stereo" logo and arrows at the top of the jacket. As a first-state pressing, the back cover includes the jacket fabricator number "2" (Imperial Paper Box Corp.) printed in the lower right corner. This release is historically significant as the first LP in the world to include "Long Tall Sally" and "I Call Your Name," specifically mixed for the US market with added reverb by Capitol executive Dave Dexter Jr. to suit American "big-beat" radio standards of the era.
