German Odeon 45 Single Bundle (Set of 3)
This auction is for a trio of German-pressed 45 RPM singles on the iconic green Odeon label. These are 1970s reissues manufactured in Germany by EMI Electrola GmbH. German pressings from this era are famous for their heavy-duty vinyl and superior analog mastering, providing a significantly "hotter" and clearer sound than standard domestic releases.
The Bundle Includes:
Twist And Shout / Falling In Love Again (1C 006-04 887) – Features the 1972-era stereo mix.
Michelle / Girl (O 23 152) – A classic double-sider from the Rubber Soul era.
I Call Your Name / Long Tall Sally (O 22 707) – Two of the band's most powerful early rockers.
All three records feature the unique Odeon/Apple hybrid labels, signifying the transition period where Apple Records took over distribution while retaining the classic Odeon branding for the German market. Each disc is housed in its original black-and-green "Apple/Odeon" company sleeve.
