Audrey Riller

Audrey Ann Riller was a Canadian visual artist and art educator. Born in Victoria, British Columbia, she was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She received her formal artistic training at the Winnipeg School of Art, where she specialized in ceramics and printmaking.

Throughout her career, Riller worked across several mediums, including printmaking, ceramics, and digital xerography. Her artistic practice frequently incorporated Pop Art imagery centered on feminist themes. She was associated with the Grand Western Canadian Screen Shop in Winnipeg, where she produced screen prints that utilized fluorescent Day-Glo inks to explore illustrative portraiture.

In addition to her studio practice, Riller served as an art educator, teaching art at St. John's Ravenscourt School in Winnipeg for twenty-six years. Following her retirement from teaching, she relocated to Victoria, British Columbia, where she resided until her death in December 2023. Her work has been featured in public university institutional exhibitions, including at the University of Manitoba School of Art Gallery.
